A weekend designed to help you understand Scripture, live on mission, and make disciples.

Understand Scripture

The Bible is not just a collection of isolated promises, prophecies, and historical data. It’s a story—one big story about a God who saves us by His faithfulness, not ours.

Live on Mission

Far from an accident or an afterthought, you have a purpose and are incredibly significant. You have a role in the story and it will define the way you live your life.

Make Disciples

Ministry looks different for everyone, but ultimately Jesus has called us all to make disciples who will tell the story to others.

Need to reset your Christian experience?

  • Does the Bible seem dry, disconnected, or irrelevant?

  • Is it hard to see a God of love in all of scripture?

  • Are you wanting to move from fear to feeling confident in sharing your faith?

  • Are you tired of being in spiritual survival mode?

  • Do you want a more meaningful and consistent walk with Jesus?

  • Do you struggle to connect with people and make disciples?

An ARISE Intensive

Once in a while, we all need a reset in our Christian experience, whether you’re a brand-new Christian or a 103-year-old church elder. Join us for a weekend that aims to reintroduce you to the God of the most beautiful story ever told—a story all about redemption, relationship, restoration, and re-creation.

During the weekend, we’ll be breaking down the big picture of Scripture, reframing who God is in light of the Bible as a story, and giving you some practical tools for your Christian experience and witness. Our hope is that as we dig into scripture, you’ll fall in love with God all over again and become part of an active community of storytellers who want to build His Kingdom.

With a gifted clarity that wins both heart and mind, he has spent the last 20 years traveling the globe preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. His life’s passion is to help everyone understand Scripture, understand the God of Scripture, and be inspired to spend their lives introducing Him to others.

Ty Gibson

Ty is the co-director of Light Bearers and pastor of Storyline Adventist Church in Eugene, Oregon. A passionate communicator with a message that opens minds and moves hearts, Ty teaches on a variety of topics, emphasizing God’s unfailing love as the central theme of the Bible.
